Tuesday: Bastille unveiled a new song “Those Nights”. Ty Segall announced a new album titled “First Taste” out August 2nd, and released a single called “Taste”. “Gretel” by (Sandy) Alex G was released off of his upcoming album “House of Sugar” dropping on September 13th, and finally Kesha released her new track “Rich, White, Straight Men”.
Thursday: Good things come those who wait! Whitney announced their new album “Forever Turned Around” will be released on August 30th, confining people’s suspicions around the “FTA” acronym that had been floating around. Their first single from the album “Giving Up” came out on Thursday. Sir Babygirl released a cover of Kesha’s “Praying”, and the group Night Moves dropped “Recollections”, paired with the previously released b-side “Strands Align”.

Other notable releases from Friday include “Telepathic” by Sløtface, “Twist My Brain” by Royal Canoe with 3PEAT, and Palehound’s album “Black Friday” getting its full release.
